Treats for Kids – A Charity Set Up by Former Kids Inc Children

Former Kids Inc Beehive Lane children, Neo and Rico, have set up ‘Treats for Kids’, a charity which helps disadvantaged children with special treats throughout the year. Their most recent appeal is for donations of Easter eggs.

Treats for Kids was founded back in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic because Neo and Rico believed all children deserved treats, particularly because the pandemic affected all of us and left many children struggling mentally. Neo and Rico are using their organisation to put a smile on children’s faces and act as a bright light for all children to follow.

Kids Inc Donation to Treats for Kids

When we learned that the children behind Treats for Kids were former Kids Inc children, we were keen to help and donated £250 towards their charity to support them in helping others.

Neo said:

‘We have received another extremely generous donation of £250 from Kids Inc Nurseries to buy Easter Eggs for our Easter Egg Appeal 2022. This donation means a lot to Rico and I because we both went to a Kids Inc nursery and absolutely loved our time there.’

Kids Inc Commented:

‘As a nursery group, we are delighted to see how far our ‘kids’ have come and are proud of Neo and Rico’s sense of community spirit and generosity. These two amazing young boys are a real credit to their families and an inspiration to others.’

Treats For Kids Previous Appeals

Advent Calendar 2021: Treats for Kids provided advent calendars to children for the Christmas countdown. With the immense support from the local community, Neo was able to produce 1,144 advent calendars.

Easter Egg Appeal 2021: Due to the success of previous appeals, Neo introduced the Easter Egg Appeal in 2021. This allowed people to donate either money or Easter eggs to the charity and the Easter eggs were distributed to children’s charities and hospitals.
