Kids Inc Day Nursery Broomfield Achieves ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating

Kids Inc Nursery Broomfield rating 'Good' by Ofsted

Following our first Ofsted inspection at Kids Inc Day Nursery in Broomfield, we are delighted to announce we have been awarded a ‘Good’ rating, reflecting the dedication of our staff team and the exceptional care and education they provide to the children in their care. This achievement comes after our Broomfield nursery joined the Kids Inc Nurseries group in February 2023 and officially launched September 2023 as Kids Inc Nurseries’ 15^th setting.

The Ofsted inspector was highly impressed with the children at our nursery, stating:

‘Children are becoming confident communicators. Pre-school children have conversations with the staff and each other throughout the day. They can explain their wants and needs clearly. Children behave well and interact positively with others. The younger children explore what makes people in stories feel a certain way such as sad and happy. Pre-school children can express how they themselves feel and why. This helps the children develop empathy and understand their emotions.’

Children at our nursery benefit from the staff’s encouragement to learn skills for the future, such as being independent and forming positive relationships with their peers. Their exemplary behaviour is a testament to their respect for one another and their ability to understand how their actions may affect the feelings of others.

The commitment and professionalism of the nursery manager, Nicola, and the staff team were also commended, with the Ofsted inspector stating:

‘The manager has high expectations for both the staff and children. There is a clear curriculum and ethos at the setting. The nursery has core values that underpin the experiences they offer for children. Staff are polite and respectful to the children. They are good role models. This leads to the children being polite and respectful.’

Ofsted also praised the nursery’s active involvement in the local community, teaching children the importance of helping others and instilling values that extend beyond the classroom.
