Kids Inc Celebrate National Apprenticeship Week

Kids Inc Nurseries are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2022 by getting our apprentices involved in various training activities.  At Kids Inc Nurseries, we take great pride in supporting, training and watching our apprentices learn and grow.  With 18 apprentices currently across the group, we look to nurture, educate and inspire them to progress along their chosen career paths.

Why Kids Inc Offer Apprenticeship Opportunities

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way of gaining knowledge and skills through hands on experience.  By being based in a nursery environment with different age groups, our apprentices are able to see first-hand how important their role is and how rewarding working with babies and young children can be.

Our Apprenticeship Training Manger, Sarah Austin, provides constant support and contact for our apprentices and is always on hand to answer questions and offer guidance as they take on this exciting chapter in their careers.

Our Apprenticeship Training Providers 

Our nursery apprentices complete their apprenticeship with Realise Training and our Kids Inc Marketing Apprentice is completing her qualification with Multiverse.  Working together with the training assessors and our Head of Childcare and Education, Teresa Brooke, we aim to provide high quality teaching and learning experiences at every stage of the apprenticeships.

Kids Inc Apprenticeship Training Opportunities 

At Kids Inc Nurseries, we provide our apprentices with different training courses to help support them in furthering their knowledge.  They also have the opportunity to participate in monthly workshops, where they are able to connect with other apprentices within the group.  During these workshops, apprentices are able to apply their knowledge and skills to different scenarios, tasks and challenges.

So far, these workshops have been amazing and our apprentices are growing in confidence and self-belief.  Our aspiration for the future is to nurture our apprentices to become outstanding practitioners, who have the confidence to thrive in their personal development and growth within our Kids Inc family.
