Kids Inc Loughton Awarded 'Good' Ofsted Rating!

Kids Inc Nurseries are delighted to announce that Kids Inc Day Nursery Loughton has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. This result reflects the combined efforts and dedication of the entire team and the provision of the high standards of care and education they provide for the children entrusted to our care.

The Ofsted inspector praised various aspects of the nursery, stating:

‘Children are happy and show enjoyment at the nursery. Staff offer a warm and friendly welcome which helps children to settle quickly into their day. The well-structured key person approach means that children develop secure bonds with trusted adults. Parents speak highly of the nursery. They applaud the open-door approach and being able to discuss any worries or concerns with leaders should the need ever arise.’

At Kids Inc Loughton, emphasis is placed on aiding children’s emotional development in order to enable them to confidently manage their feelings and behaviour, and thereby learning with well-considered learning intentions:

‘Children are well-behaved and show respect for their peers and the nursery environment. Staff have developed clear and consistent expectations that help children make positive choices. Children benefit from a rich and varied curriculum. Leaders have thought carefully about the knowledge and skills they want children to develop during their time at nursery. There is an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children’s interests first.’

The nursery manager, Chelsea, was recognised for supporting her team and ensuring staff work to their strengths:

‘The manager understands the value of staff supervision sessions and staff meetings, thereby supporting good outcomes for children. Parents are complimentary about the care that their children receive, with parents who are new to the setting saying that they feel comfortable and reassured at how quickly their children settle. This has a positive impact on children’s development.’
