Kids Inc Day Nursery Beehive Lane Achieves ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating

Kids Inc Nurseries are delighted to announce that Kids Inc Day Nursery Beehive Lane has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its recent inspection. This achievement highlights the consistent quality of care and education provided by the dedicated staff team at our Beehive Lane nursery, ensuring that the children in our care receive the best possible start in life.

The Ofsted inspector commended several aspects of the nursery, stating: ‘Staff support children’s emotional development well. They take the time to get to know children and families during flexible settling-in sessions. Children who are new to the nursery are sensitively supported by staff. This helps them to feel secure and calm on arrival.’

At Kids Inc Beehive Lane, a strong emphasis is placed on supporting children’s overall development, allowing them to thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment:

‘Children learn how to manage their feelings appropriately. For example, staff encourage the use of colour, books and puppets to help children to articulate their emotions. Children demonstrate friendly behaviours and hold hands as they play together. Children’s smiling faces and animated chatter shows that they feel happy, and they behave very well.’

The management team was praised for their commitment to continuous improvement and staff well-being, with the inspector stating: ‘The enthusiastic manager is well-supported by the senior leadership team. This helps to maintain good leadership and management oversight. Self-evaluation is accurate and leaders have a true picture of the quality of the education and care provided.’ We would like to say a massive well done to the team at Beehive Lane for their continuous hard work!
