Kids Inc Nurseries have recently been supporting Haven House Children’s Hospice with a large fundraising drive in which all the nurseries within the group took part. We held a variety of events, including Christmas events, bake sales and dressing up days. Every nursery made huge efforts to help support the amazing work that Haven House do for children.
Last September, the Kids Inc Nursery Managers voted for their charity of choice that they wished for Kids Inc Nurseries to support in the upcoming months. It was really important to us, as a group, to support a charity working with children in some way.
With the Kids Inc Head Office and a significant number of our nurseries being located in and around the Essex and East London area, Haven House is a local charity, and hence was the popular favourite. Haven House provides the best possible life for every baby, child and young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and Kids Inc wanted to be part of that mission to support the children and their families.
‘My son is such a sociable and smiley little boy. He loves meeting new people, singing and playing. It was amazing to see just how much Haven House helped him regain his confidence after those frightening months. I feel so proud of him and it’s all thanks to the remarkable kindness and generosity of supporters like you.’
In December, Kids Inc Nurseries held two Snow Festivals, multiple raffles, cakes sales and dressing up days to collectively raise money. Each nursery that took part, achieved fantastic results and we would like to say a special well done to the Guildford team, who alone raised £650!
As a group, the teams at Kids Inc Nurseries raised an outstanding £2,500 for Haven House Children’s Hospice. Well done to everyone involved and a huge thank you to parents, friends and families in helping us achieve this goal!
