Kids Inc Win at the NMT Awards 2022

We are delighted to announce that Kids Inc Nurseries were awarded the ‘Training and Development’ award at the Nursery Management Today Awards ceremony last weekend.  This award highlights the incredible work that our training academy do for internal and external nursery practitioners.  In a highly competitive category, Kids Inc Day Nursery York Road were awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for Community Nursery of the Year.

Kids Inc Nurseries were honoured to be the Silver Sponsor at the NMT Awards, sponsoring the drinks reception and the Indoor Nursery Environment awards category, the winner of which our Managing Director, Sav Kalsi, was proud to announce.

Our Award-Winning Training Academy

Lead Early Years Trainer, Abbey Towsey, and Apprenticeship Lead, Sarah Austin, were very excited to receive this award in recognition of their hard work and efforts over the last year.  The Kids Inc Training Academy offers seven programmes: Babies, Brains and Brilliance, Every Key Person Matters, Child Protection Fundamentals, Self-Regulation and Associated Behaviours, Early Years Statutory Framework, The Great Outdoors and Observation, Assessment and Planning.

Kids Inc York Road are a ‘Highly Commended’ Community Nursery

Kids Inc York Road were awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for their community work, which includes charity events, donations of toys to children’s wards in local hospitals, sponsoring local events, holding free stay and play sessions for local parents, fundraising for Haven House, a local children’s hospice, and making donations to local food banks.  In recent months, they have also donated much needed supplies of essentials for transport to Poland for Ukrainian refugees.  We are committed to supporting our local community and local businesses and are proud to be a ‘highly commended’ nursery.
