Kids Inc Win Twice at NMT Awards 2023!

Following our announcement in September that we had been selected as finalists in the NMT Awards 2023 in FIVE categories, we are thrilled to announce that Kids Inc Nurseries were awarded two awards at the ceremony on Saturday! The winning categories were:

Nursery Business Development of the Year
Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year

Receiving these awards is a testament to the incredible work and dedication of our team and the outstanding, industry-leading care that we provide.

We were honoured to be the Gold Sponsor at the NMT Awards, sponsoring the drinks reception and the Individual Nursery of the Year awards category, the winner of which was announced by our Managing Director, Sav Kalsi.

Nursery Business Development of the Year

We were delighted when Kids Inc Nurseries were named as this year’s recipient of the Nursery Business Development of the Year Award! Covid proved itself to be a challenging time for nurseries, but gave us the opportunity to regroup and really think about what we wanted to achieve in the years ahead. As a group, we have always been committed to supporting the local communities and businesses where our nurseries are based and, as far as possible, work with local grocers, butchers, fishmongers, etc.. We are also committed to supporting local care homes, libraries and charities. We are proud to be able to provide childcare provisions and career opportunities in areas where these were previously limited, thus further enhancing the lives of our children, parents, employees and local communities.

Apprenticeship Scheme of the Year

Apprenticeship Lead, Sarah Austin, was very excited to receive this award in recognition of her hard work and efforts over the last year. Sarah became the Apprenticeship Lead for Kids Inc in October 2021 and began to enrol applicants with Realise, whilst quickly establishing an outstanding support community for our apprentices. Sarah has to date worked with over 35 apprentices, many of whom have received distinctions!

We would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners – it’s thanks to everyone’s hard work and input that we as a sector continue to raise the standards of childcare up and down the country, ensuring every child gets the best possible start in life.
