Our Staff
Our staff are carefully selected for their ability to provide warm and consistent care, and for their understanding of the developing physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the children.
All our staff are vetted to meet stringent requirements set by Ofsted. Prior to starting work, satisfactory references from the most recent former employers and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks are obtained for each member of staff we employ. These checks are updated on a regular basis, regardless of length of service.
Virtually all of our staff have a qualification in children’s care, learning and development or are qualified to degree level, and we actively encourage others to pursue formal qualifications. In addition, all staff receive training in safeguarding children, paediatric first aid, moving and handling, food hygiene and fire safety. All training needs are individually assessed and further training provided as required.
Whilst the top priority of our staff team is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times, we also aim to make the time that your child spends with us an enjoyable ‘learning journey’, which enables him or her to learn, develop and have fun!
